If you head over to SmogTV (it’s LA) you can watch a great short on a graffiti art project happening right now in Venice Beach. It’s a new site and it’s been getting a lot of traffic in the past week already. The clip is cleverly cut to our surfy instrumental “Tsunami.”

Facts:

1. SmogTV is run by my good friend Rob. Rob and I met in a film theory class back at Cornell.
2. In a chance encounter, Rob showed up at one of our earliest shows at Rusty’s Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier. Now I hadn’t seen Rob in about two years, but I nearly brushed him off that night and I still feel badly about that. In my defense, I only did so because I was occupied with one tall, beautiful black girl that I left with after our show. Her name was Nicole. I never saw her again, but Rob and I are better friends than ever.
