Just spoke with Adam who’s in NYC for CMJ.  Things are still a go to start recording with him before the end of the year.  Considering how well our show went on our first trip to NYC this summer, maybe we should fly out there for a few shows a year.

I’ve Tivo’d Fred Armisan’s priceless impression of Gene Simmons on SNL. As good as his Tony Danza.  I ran into him at Amoeba Music a couple of years ago.  I forget what I was buying. I ran into him a few weeks later at The Farmer’s Market on Fairfax and I think he got wierded out by the coincidence. Spoon performed on this episode as well. I had never heard them before, they’ve got a real Van Morrison thing going on.
