Augustine strings
- Strung my classical with Augustine strings, Blue basses with Imperial trebles. The low-mids really boom and the trebles are warm and not too bright. Perfect. Louder than what I was using before. Augustine does not specify tension on their strings which forces you to listen without bias. And makes you go online to see what they’re about.
- Tried hard to learn a four-way game of euchre. Couldn’t learn it. According to Wikipedia euchre is predominant in the Western New York area as well as the Mid-west. Which supports my theory that Buffalo is the eastern cusp of the Midwest.
