Old Grey Whistle Test

Cinefile has three volumes of the Old Grey Whistle Test performances. The show’s Dire Strait’s performance of “Sultans of Swing” is one of the greatest tv performance I’ve ever seen. If you can, stop what your doing and watch these two minutes of Bill Withers and company.

Hold the line . . .

. . . Toto just kicked your ass and mine.

Backstage Cafe

Video of the day. aka The Blues

Here’s the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while. The guys and I at Westwood Music were dying watching this today.

The band and I are in preproduction for our upcoming album We’ll be rehearsing in West LA tomorrow and I’ll be auditioning the Fulltone Supa-Trem and the discontinued Barge Concepts RC-2 Compressor.

American graffiti

If you head over to SmogTV (it’s LA) you can watch a great short on a graffiti art project happening right now in Venice Beach. It’s a new site and it’s been getting a lot of traffic in the past week already. The clip is cleverly cut to our surfy instrumental “Tsunami.”

SmogTV is run by […]
